“I love loitering; a concept that implies we should not fight for privacy, but for the right to be in public.
We should say: when I am on a network, I am public.
This does not mean I should be attacked or made vulnerable in a horrible, abusive manner. It means I need some rigorous public right. Rather than constantly trying to say that these networked spaces are private, which the clearly aren’t, we should understand how communication implies vulnerability and publicity.”
