On my herintreder blog one of the categories was ‘pictures of pictures’.
This one is a detail I shot of a print of a picture I made, which itself was a picture of a spray work.
Below you see a picture I made of a video by Bill Viola, which was based upon a painting by Pontormo and I publish my picture because it reminds me of David Lynch.
Maybe it’s a good time to reread The Work of Art in the Age of Mechanical Reproduction by Walter Benjamin.
